THE ROLE The Assistant Marketing Manager Brand leads the communication and contents development, and deployment of concept, master communications, visual guidelines of higher complexity portfolio-based projects (eg launches, LEP and key cycle initiatives) initiated by Portfolio teams. This includes driving the project cross-functionally and ensuring deployment of omni-channel toolboxes and consistency of content. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. The key areas of accountability and coverage are: - Development of creative brief to agency, working together with MK Portfolio/CPG team, to specify project objectives, KPI, channel plan & strategy, and material requirement across all channels (incl. e-Com) - Lead the End-to-End comms development for launches and key cycle activities (including the development of concept, Master communications, visual guidelines). - Concept, Master Key Visuals, Guidelines, & CVS comms (10-12 slots per year) for Seasonal Promos, Launches, LEP <excl CC> - Accountable for quality of final deployments - OC coordination, Portfolio, TP / Channel alignment - Deploy/execute (projects of higher complexity or support to Marketing Manager on critical projects) the development, production, execution and monitoring of projects. - Comms toolbox and development of all assets for portfolio cycle activity (monthly CVS) as well as promotions and launches across all channels Collaborate with KA, CP, OC, Portfolio teams to deliver the comms toolbox as per cycle calendar (timeline management) - Risk Management & content compliance to brand & legal requirements (and optimized for search and user experience) - Online and Offline content strategy – contact point for OC for master assets - Offline & online content trans- creation and management - Multichannel / Omni channel publishing - Content Versioning and A/B Testing Monitor content effectiveness - consumer F/B - Performance tracking, analysis & reporting (Cadence meeting) - Content creation spend management (Agency/Budget management) QUALIFICATIONS • Hands-on experience most important 5-10 years’ experience in marketing and planning brand activities in consumer goods industries or in advertising, media or consulting firms servicing consumer goods businesses. • Experience in marketing communications, product & retail communication • Experience in leading cross-functional teams, and project management Critical Skills • Strong Learning mindset and capability, analytical thinking skills • Strong Influencing / Interpersonal Skills (for cross-function alignment) • Native level Japanese (verbal, written) and business level or above English skills Critical Behaviors • Strong collaborator and enabler for collaboration across teams, across functions.
