Lead development to deployment of the responsible product launch & commercialization as well as promotion by ensuring product readiness, deployment planning and execution. 2. Acting as a project manager, to ensure a full delivery of the project (e.g. NPL, promotion) by leading a wide variety of stakeholders is the role's responsibility scope. 3. Contribute to a strategic planning of the responsible portfolio by supporting MK Manager Portfolio. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. 1. [Planning] Support Marketing Manager with portfolio planning. This includes; - Provide data analysis and consumer insights in collaboration with Marketing Research - Align with each channels on channel specific plans - Support MK Mgr. with post-launch performance evaluation by data gathering & analysis 2. [Deployment] Ensure deployment of a responsible project as a Project manager 1) Lead end-to-end Product development. This includes; - Define overall strategy for the product including concept - Development and tracking of project timelines - Localization of Packaging design and user documents incl. JP translations - Ensure packaging is aligned with headquarter, legal, EA & regulatory requirements - Ensure product submission and certification by regulatory bodies - Work with Supply team to ensure demand & supply of products for the specific assigned project 2) Lead end-to-end deployment of assigned project (ie. NPL / Promotion). This includes: - Co-development of creative brief to agency, working together with MK Brand Comm team to specify project objectives, KPI, channel plan & strategy, and material requirement across all channels - Ensure the deployment toolbox (i.e. a set of creatives) meets specific requirements by channel - Monitor and manage cost within the allocated budget As Assistant Marketing Manager: - Complexity & size of the project: high & large - End-to-end deployment management independently - Handle multiple projects - Guide MK Executive QUALIFICATIONS • Undergraduate or graduate degree • Japanese - Fluent, native level preferred • English- Fluent • 3-6 years’ experience in product marketing in consumer goods industries or in advertising, media or consulting firms servicing consumer goods businesses • Experience in Product & portfolio development ideally in FMCG • Experience in leading cross-functonal teams, and project management Critical Skills • Strong Learning mindset and capability • Strong analytical and strategic thinking • Strong Influencing / Interpersonal Skills (for cross-function alignment) • Effective level of communication (verbal, written) • Strong Project management skill Critical Behaviors • Strong collaborator and enabler for collaboration across teams, across functions. • Agile and able to operate in complex and demanding, changing environment and long-term time developments • Stand alone WHAT WE OFFER Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
