Your ‘day to day’ Philip Morris Singapore Pte Ltd is part of the Asia East Cluster (Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and China). This unique cluster setup enables a lot of learnings and synergies across the markets. In this role, the Manager People & Culture reports to the P&C Head Asia East Cluster and is responsible for partnering with the local Singapore leadership team in shaping and delivering the organizational and talent priorities that will enable the business objective through an engaged, inclusive, and diverse organization with unique capabilities. Responsibilities: CATEGORY/FUNCTION AND PEOPLE STRATEGY: • Lead the development of the Singapore's P&C strategy in alignment with the global and cluster P&C strategy to meet the specific needs of the Singapore market, targeting to achieve utmost positive impact to the business. • In collaboration with business leaders, build short-term and long-term strategic plans to anticipate future business demands, treating people-related challenges as opportunities and implementing prioritized solutions that have a significant impact on overall business success. ORGANIZATION EFFECTIVENESS & CHANGE MANAGEMENT • Implement an operating model for the market and functions that enables efficient and effective execution of the business strategy. • Design and plan the organizational structure within the defined operating model. • Lead change initiatives in collaboration with market/function leadership, offering advice on change management tools and approaches to facilitate successful change within the market/ function. LEADERSHIP COACHING • Coach and advise leaders on people-related matters, offering expertise and thought leadership. • Guide leaders in their own journey to leadership development. WORKFORCE PLANNING & TALENT MANAGEMENT • Implement a comprehensive talent strategy that is anchored on a well-developed and diverse talent pipeline, building the succession for the critical positions within the market/function. • Provide guidance and advice to line managers on identifying, developing, and retaining their talents, enabling them to build successful teams. CULTURE AND EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT • Foster a highly-engaged culture, built on the unique cultural values and behaviors of the PMI DNA – We Care, We Are Better Together, We Are Game Changers. • Build a growth mindset that equips and empowers employees to define their own development plans, utilize the robust learning and development resources within PMI, and measure one’s progress through continuous feedback. • Guide line managers in improving the market/function's employee engagement, inclusion and leadership effectiveness leveraging on relevant global assets that support data and action planning. LABOR RELATIONS, COMPLIANCE & EXCELLENCE • Collaborate with Global and Regional Labor Relations (LR) team and business leaders to establish effective employee/ labor relations and facilitate two-way communication, minimizing risks and maintaining a positive work environment. • Support compliance with country-specific regulatory frameworks and company policies, proactively identifying potential risks. • Exemplify P&C excellence by providing market trend on labor costs, adhering to budgets, policies, and guidelines, thereby contributing to the overall efficiency of the Operating Model. Who we’re looking for Bachelor degrees in business management/ administration/ HR Management/ Psychology or equivalent. • Minimum 10 years of professional experience with shown records in HR Management, Business Partnering. • Experience in deploying operating models, change management & partnering and strategic workforce planning. • Experience collaborating with various senior stakeholders. • Shown experience and success in leading and developing teams. • Key P&C capabilities we value include being data-driven, business-focused, and experience-led. • Good understanding of core P&C areas of intervention (Total Rewards, talent management, Learning and Leadership development, Talent acquisition, performance management, employee experience) What we offer Our success depends on our talented employees who come to work here every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
