PMI certified as Global Top Employer for the 10th year running

The award recognizes the company’s unwavering commitment to its people, culture, and progress.

For the 10th year in a row, Philip Morris International (PMI) has been certified by the Top Employers Institute as a Global Top Employer.

The certification firmly establishes us as an employer of choice, committed to the impact, growth, and wellbeing of our employees by providing them with the right environment, support, and resources for their careers and professional development.

Recognizing excellence in PMI’s people practices

The Top Employers Institute recognizes excellence in people practices, and its Top Employer program spotlights the best employers around the world. Our organization underwent a comprehensive evaluation process. We were evaluated by the HR Best Practices Survey, covering six key domains consisting of 20 topics, including people strategy, work environment, learning, purpose & values, wellbeing, and more.

“PMI is honored to have been recognized as a Global Top Employer for 10 consecutive years,” said Frederic Patitucci, Group Chief People & Culture Officer.

“It’s an achievement that underscores the quality and consistency of our people practices on a global stage.

“We strive to create an environment where everyone feels empowered to grow, contribute, and thrive. This milestone reflects the passion and dedication of our teams worldwide. Looking ahead, we’ll continue setting the benchmark for modern employment—investing in growth, inclusion, and wellbeing to attract and develop exceptional talent.”

Empowered to grow, contribute, and thrive

We are committed to cultivating a culture where different perspectives are valued, open dialogue is encouraged, and every individual feels empowered to contribute. Our PMI DNA—We Care, We are Better Together, We are Game Changers—defines how we work, lead, and engage with each other every day.

These values serve as a guiding framework that was developed through deep reflection and employee input, ensuring they resonate with the experiences and aspirations of our global workforce.

PMI is one of just 17 international organizations to receive the Global Top Employer 2026 certification. Our affiliates were also highlighted as leading employers in 32 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia/Pacific.

“PMI’s strong alignment between people strategy and organizational goals, combined with a commitment to continuous improvement, demonstrates the impact of their transformative practices,” said Adrian Seligman, CEO, Top Employers Institute.
